Around 95% of Clients are Fully Covered
Will My Insurance Cover Your Services?
Approximately 95% of Nutrition HealthWorks clients are fully covered by insurance for their nutrition services. Nutrition HealthWorks bills insurance for nutritional counseling under preventive care. Preventive care is intended to help you stay as healthy as possible and includes routine screenings, checkups, and patient counseling to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems. Preventive services are often covered with no copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
We are providers with the insurance companies listed below. Coverage can vary by plan, so if you’d like us to verify benefits prior to scheduling, please use the Contact Us form. Every client receives a document reviewing their coverage before their appointment.
We also provide a superbill for any client not covered by the plans below, allowing you to submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Do I Need a Referral?
- Medicare or Medicaid: Referral required (see descriptions in the insurance sections below).
- Most other plans: Referral generally not required.
- We may request supporting documentation such as a diagnosis code, chart note, or lab results from the past year to maximize coverage.
- Documents can be uploaded to your account or faxed to us once you are scheduled.
