BCBS
Your plan may provide full coverage for nutritional counseling, often with little to no copay and your deductible will not apply. Number of sessions can vary and we are happy to look into what your plan will cover.
We are not in network with Blue Local and Blue Home plans as these are closed networks.
Aetna
Under preventative services, many Aetna plans offer 10 appointments for healthy diet counseling as well as additional coverage for overweight, obesity, and diabetes. Some plans have medical coverage for additional nutrition counseling with a doctor’s referral.
Cigna
Most Cigna plans offer 3 visits under preventive care.
Trustmark and Meritian with Aetna or Cigna
Your plan may provide full coverage for nutritional counseling, often with little to no copay, and your deductible will not apply.
Medicare
We are providers with Medicare and BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna Advantage plans.
Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and chronic kidney disease. A referral from your provider is required for us to bill any Medicare plan.
Most Medicare supplemental plans do not offer coverage beyond what Medicare covers. However, there are exceptions and we would be happy to check on your plan.
Medicaid
We are providers with WellCare, Healthy Blue, Carolina Complete, and Medicaid Direct (Original Medicaid). A referral is required to bill services to Medicaid for pediatric clients.
