Background:
My early experience was working within hospital systems where I was twice certified as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and earned the Preceptor Of The Year Award from the local dietetic internship program. All these years later, I continue to be fascinated by how nutrition can impact our health. I have a particular passion for gut health, disease management and disease prevention, and I like to take a holistic and personalized approach to helping people reach their health goals.
Outside the Office: I enjoy experimenting with food projects and trying new recipes. I also love taking care of my many plants, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and having quality time with my friends and family.
Always In My Fridge: Greek yogurt because it’s tasty, very versatile, and nutritious. Eggs because they’re an easy protein to prep ahead and have on hand. Bell peppers for a crunchy, tasty, easy vegetable.
Favorite Meal of the Day: Breakfast, because starting my day well-fueled helps me do life better. Also, I love my coffee.
How I Get My Movement in my Day: I love a long walk in the woods! I also love a good yoga session, whether it’s strength-focused and challenging, or stretchy and restorative. Sometimes I find myself walking around the parking lot on my lunch break or before I head home, because otherwise I wouldn’t get any intentional movement for the day.
