Can I choose my dietitian before scheduling?

Yes. You can review each dietitian’s specialties and background before selecting the provider that best fits your nutrition needs.

Do you offer telehealth nutrition appointments?

Yes. Many dietitians offer virtual appointments. Telehealth availability depends on the provider and the state you are located in.

What nutrition services can I schedule for?

Appointments are available for weight management, diabetes care, GI conditions, eating disorder support, women’s health, pediatric nutrition, sports nutrition, and other nutrition services.

What if I have Medicare or Medicaid insurance?

If you have Medicare or Medicaid, you are asked to contact the office directly to schedule your appointment.

Do all dietitians accept new patients?

I’ve been working with Mekenzie for about three months now, and the experience has been valuable. Can't say enough good things about Mekenzie! We have only been working together for a little over 1 month but it's going really well and I appreciate her approach. I have never monitored food intake or kept a food log so she eased me into it. I also recommend getting the metabolic test if you've never done one as that was a helpful baseline to tell me how many calories per day I am burning at rest. I specifically hired Mekenzie because of her sports fitness background as I am a competitive swimmer and it's been eye opening at how much better my performance could be with the right foods. I had such a wonderful experience with Dana at Nutrition Healthworks! She is so knowledgeable about food and nutrition but also very encouraging & positive! At times I would be disappointed in myself about certain things and she always pointed out the wins that I had to make me realize change was starting to happen. She really helped me to let go of the “everything or nothing” mentality which has continued to stick with me. Consistency is key not perfection and Dana helped me with that so much!
