Anna Duke
Anna was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She pursued her passion for nutrition at Appalachian State University, where she earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her 1200+ hour Dietetic Internship at Atrium Health and The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Anna takes a personalized approach to nutrition care, understanding that every client has a unique story. She emphasizes meeting clients where they are and helping them unpack past patterns that influence current behaviors. Her practice is rooted in weight-inclusive care, gentle nutrition, intuitive eating principles, and understanding the social determinants of health. Anna also believes that nutrition education should be fun!
In addition, Anna has expertise in heart health, women’s health, sports nutrition, and healthy aging. She is committed to empowering her clients to achieve sustainable well-being through compassionate and evidence-based guidance. Her goal is for each client to leave the session feeling validated, empowered, and confident.
Outside of work, Anna is a distance runner who enjoys training for half and full marathons. She also loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in Raleigh, spending time with friends, and taking care of her cat, Mez.
